What Makes It Tick

The Inside Story
Inside that compact tube, a halogen cycle works inside a quartz envelope. This keeps the filament running at a steady temperature, which means the whole thing lasts way longer than a standard bulb. The reflector coating is a clever bit of engineering, too. It lets visible light pass through while pushing all that infrared heat forward. The result? A beam that feels focused, not scattered. And for the connection, it uses an R7s bi-pin base. It’s a simple, proven design. It locks in tight, makes wiring a breeze, and lets you swap out the lamp in seconds if you ever need to.
