By coating the reflectors and isolating the wiring, we stopped water from &amp;ldquo;tracking&amp;rdquo; across the electrical parts. In plain English? You get a much higher IP rating. It means the unit can actually handle a damp environment without blowing a fuse.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A quick heads-up on installation&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;There is a trade-off here. Because we sealed the housing so tight to keep the water out, there&amp;rsquo;s less airflow. This means the internals run a bit hotter.&#xA;You&amp;rsquo;ve got to give the unit some breathing room in your ceiling. If you cram it into a tight, unventilated space, you&amp;rsquo;re probably going to trip the thermal cutout.&#xA;Just follow the load specs when you wire it up so the terminals don&amp;rsquo;t overheat. As long as your voltage is steady and the unit isn&amp;rsquo;t suffocating in the ceiling, &lt;a href=&#34;https://henruite.com&#34;&gt;those&lt;/a&gt; elements should last a long, long time.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
