High-density quartz pulls a lot of power. You’ll need to make sure your wiring and relays can handle that initial surge of current when they kick on. Also, quartz is fragile. It can take a massive thermal beating, but it hates physical impact. A stray bump or a few drops of water hitting a red-hot tube? Crack. That’s why we always suggest putting guards over them. Plus, when you pair this setup with steam injection, the moisture helps pull that heat right into the crust.
